Mission: The mission of the Marlboro Nordic Ski Club is to promote, support, and grow nordic skiing in Marlboro, Vermont and make access affordable to all.

The Marlboro Nordic Ski Club is a non-profit organization and membership is available to all residents of the Town of Marlboro, Vermont and as well as the greater community: all are welcome! The goal of Marlboro Nordic Ski Club is to provide access and programs to skiing to all ages without regard to income or access to equipment, develop robust programmatic models with long-term viability, be a resource for the community, host events that bring more people together, and assist in maintaining our local trails. Marlboro Nordic Ski Club is a registered club under the New England Nordic Ski Association (NENSA).

A major component of Marlboro Nordic is our Bill Koch Youth Ski League (BKL) program of which we are a member of the Southern Vermont chapter. The New England Bill Koch Youth Ski League is the largest cross country ski program for young people in the United States and its mission is to introduce young people to the lifelong sport of cross country skiing with all of its recreational, social, fitness, and competitive opportunities.

Cross country skiing is fun and it’s an activity that can involve the whole family. It’s safe. It’s recreational, but offers competitive options for those who want them. It’s educational and healthy and environmentally sensitive, you’re not going to find a better lifetime sport.
