Wendell Judd Cup Race

When: Sunday February 25, 2024

Schedule:

Registration 11am-12pm (really, get here on-time!)

Youth .5km fun race: 12pm mass-start

10km Wendell Judd Cup: 12:30pm mass-start

The Location: 

Our trailhead at the soccer field by Persons Auditorium. Please park in the lot on the south side of the road. Overflow parking available in upper lots on Theater Road.

The Race: Due to low snow, this year’s edition is a 10 kilometer freestyle (skate or classic) 4 laps of a 2.5 kilometer course on our core trails. South Pond Loop is not feasible with current conditions and forecasted weather.

NEW THIS YEAR: You can compete as a 2 or 3 or 4 person relay team! Skiers may tag off only in the lap zone at the start/finish, how you split up racing duties is up to you! Costumes/team uniforms are highly encouraged!

The Post-Race Scene: We'll have a fire! We'll have snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. If you want a post-race beer or bubbly, please feel free to BYOB. The kids will probably have built a sled run during the kids party the day before, so bring a sled!

The Cost: 18 and under free! Members $10, non club members $20. Relay teams $30.

The Prizes: We might have prizes for categories to be determined on the spot. I'm not saying you need to wear a costume, but you really might want to wear a costume.
